Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness helps you to connect with the present moment and slow the busy chatter of the mind.  This is achieved by anchoring your attention to something such as sounds, sights, smells or sensations.  When thoughts come, as they have a habit of doing, you simply bring your attention back to your anchor.

This practice can help to reduce negative emotions, improve focus and memory and lessen impulsive or emotional reactions.

"Stop trying to make the present moment peaceful. Instead, make peace with the present moment"

- Judith Lasater
